I think the original recipe was for cookies. I can't remember how many cookies it makes, but those were 1 point. Of course you would have 2-3 cookies worth of batter in a muffin tin so it would be more points for the muffin.

Assuming the pumpkin is a can of puree (not pie filling) and a 15 oz.
size, this is what I came up with by running it through a recipe calculator.
From an 18 muffin yield, here's the stats per muffin:
Calories: 132
Fat: 2.3 g
Fiber: 1 g
That figures to 3 points each.
If you want a lower point muffin, there has to be more fiber in the
recipe. The best I've been able to concoct, is 2 points.
